چکیده

Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is a widespread closely associated with obesity and metabolic disorders. Noninvasive instrumental markers are of great importance in the diagnosis NAFLD. The aim present investigation was to study correlation Hamaguchi score prevalence peripheral arterial atherosclerosis evaluate diagnostic value relation presence carotid lower limb stenoses. Materials Methods. All participants underwent duplex scanning arteries basin extremities, abdominal ultrasound examination. Results . involved 175 patients, including 72 men 103 women. Median age patients 50 years. Combined extremities detected 76 (43,4 %) patients. severity hepatic steatosis according 2 points. Significantly higher values (p=0,026) were observed group combined arteries. According logistic regression analysis, one unit increase 1,192-fold (95 % CI 1,023-1,387) relative risk finding two basins (carotid extremity arteries). ROC-analysis, increasing score>2 points allowed diagnose stenoses sensitivity 52,6 specificity 63,6 (AUC=0,596; p=0,024). Conclusion In NAFLD made it possible %.

NOX2-generated oxidative stress is associated with severity of ultrasound liver steatosis in patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease

BACKGROUND Chronic oxidative stress is one of the key mechanisms responsible for disease progression in non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. However, so far, few studies reported increased circulating levels of oxidative stress markers in patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver and no study has been performed with newer markers of systemic oxidative stress. The aim was to assess the relationship ...
